At this vintage gas station, a young boy is meticulously fueling the 2019 / C7 Corvette Z-06 , his small hands handling the nozzle with careful attention.
As the Corvette smoothly pulls away, the engine gentle purr fades into the background. The boy remains behind a lingering sense of aspiration and determination. That some day, he will be in the driver’s seat. A classic 1953 Corvette gleams in the backdrop presenting a iconic American automobile history, where past and future converge in this canvas of aspiration and possibility.
I’ve always loved art that tells a story, art that resonates with me so deeply that I can see myself in it. So, when I decided to commission a painting of my Corvette, I knew that I wanted something far beyond a typical hotrod poster, and I knew it had to be painted by Motor Marc.
I brought some original photos and an idea to Marc, hoping to convey my vision. During our first meeting, I was amazed. Not only did he get it, but he was genuinely excited about the project. Ideas started flowing, and Marc quickly embraced my vision and made it his.
When I saw the painting for the first time, I was stunned. I stepped back and stared. Everything I had imagined—and more—was right there on the canvas. The car was captured perfectly, but more importantly, the painting told a story. It was clear how much heart Marc had put into it. My vision was to create a piece of art that any car enthusiast would instantly connect with, and Motor Marc exceeded my wildest dreams in capturing that essence.
