Description
The Wild West is remembered as this Legend Rider travels the dusty roads. Riding her new 110th Heritage Softail through the Black Hills on her way to the Badlands, she recalls stories in her mind of a forgotten era, and the harsh life of Cowboys and Indians. As she passes through the sacred ground of the Lakota Indians she imagines them performing a ghost dance Pow Wow. While a gunslinger shoots a deadly rattle snake hidden in a long horn skull, archaeologists dig up petrified bones and buffaloes roam the plains, all set against the backdrop of a jagged-edged mountain ridge. In the distance a lone eagle flies high above the hills looking for prey, as our rider travels through history trying to catch up to the pack.
This is the fourth painting in the Legend Rider Series. These panels put all together tell a story of life in the old west and life on the open road of a Sturgis Rally.
